Our mission is to design and implement cloud-native solutions tailored to our clients' needs. This approach focuses on creating scalable, cost-efficient, and secure applications, which are the pillars of successful cloud adoption. As a Cloud Engineer (m/w/d), you will work on maximizing the potential benefits of cloud computing for our customers by leveraging leading cloud service providers.
Your tasks
  • You will be working with public cloud providers such as AWS, Azure, or GCP, solving significant challenges through infrastructure automation and development.
  • You will evaluate new cloud technologies and make recommendations for their implementation to enhance operational efficiency and effectivenes
  • You will design and implement cloud infrastructure solutions to meet scalability, availability, and security requirements.
  • You will set up and run CI/CD pipelines using tools like Gitlab CI/CD or Github Actions.
  • You will automate cloud services and operations using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools like Terraform or Pulumi.
  • You will be an active member of agile SCRUM teams and will promote the SQUER culture with the goal of continuous improvement.
  • Being a part of SQUER means being a Thought Leader and actively shaping SQUER as well as projects by openly communicating and being a team player.
Your qualifications
  • You have an in-depth understanding of infrastructure architectures, cloud-native development, and infrastructure orchestration (Kubernetes).
  • You possess a good understanding of Kubernetes-native operator/controller patterns, as well as CI/CD pipelines.
  • You identify yourself as a DevOps practitioner and are accustomed to promoting these practices throughout development organizations.
  • You are proficient in one or more programming languages common in the cloud-native community (Golang, Python, JavaScript/TypeScript).
  • Training and further development of your skills are of paramount importance to you. Moreover, you enjoy sharing acquired knowledge.
  • You are fluent in English (both written and spoken) in order to communicate effectively with colleagues and partners.

Stellenbeschreibung
Unsere Mission besteht darin, maßgeschneiderte cloudbasierte Lösungen für die Bedürfnisse unserer Kunden zu entwerfen und umzusetzen. Dieser Ansatz konzentriert sich darauf, skalierbare, kosteneffiziente und sichere Anwendungen zu schaffen, die die Grundpfeiler für eine erfolgreiche Cloud-Nutzung darstellen. Als Cloud Engineer (m/w/d) wirst du daran arbeiten, das Potenzial von Cloud Computing für unsere Kunden maximal auszuschöpfen, indem du führende Cloud-Service-Anbieter nutzt.
Deine Aufgaben
  • Du wirst mit öffentlichen Cloud-Anbietern wie AWS, Azure oder GCP zusammenarbeiten und spannende Herausforderungen in Bezug auf Infrastrukturautomatisierung und -entwicklung lösen.
  • Die Evaluierung neuer Cloud-Technologien und die Empfehlung zu ihrer Implementierung, um die operative Effizienz und Effektivität zu steigern, gehören zu deinen Aufgaben.
  • Du entwirfst und setzt cloudbasierte Infrastrukturlösungen um, um Anforderungen an Skalierbarkeit, Verfügbarkeit und Sicherheit zu erfüllen.
  • Du richtest CI/CD-Pipelines mit Tools wie Gitlab CI/CD oder Github Actions ein und betreibst diese.
  • Die Automatisierung von Cloud-Services und -Operationen erfolgt mithilfe von "Infrastructure as Code" (IaC)-Tools wie Terraform oder Pulumi.
  • Du bist ein aktives Mitglied hauptsächlich agiler SCRUM-Teams und verbreiten die SQUER-Kultur mit dem Ziel ständiger Verbesserung.
  • Ein Teil von SQUER zu sein bedeutet, sich kontinuierlich weiterzuentwickeln, ein Vordenker zu sein und SQUER sowie Projekte aktiv mitzugestalten, indem du offen kommunizierst und ein Teamplayer bist.
Deine Qualifikationen
  • Tiefgehendes Verständnis von Infrastruktur-bezogener Architektur, Cloud Native Entwicklung, und Infrastruktur Orchestrierung (Kubernetes).
  • Grundlegendes Verständnis von Kubernetes-nativen Operator- und Controller-Patterns, sowie CI/CD-Pipelines.
  • Du identifizierst dich selbst als DevOps Praktiker und bist es gewohnt diese Idee in Entwicklungsorganisationen zu promoten.
  • Du beherrscht eine oder mehrere Programmiersprache(n), die in der Cloud Native Community vorherrschen (Golang, Python, JavaScript/TypeScript.
  • Weiterbildung und -entwicklung sind dir wichtig und du hast Spaß daran, dein erworbenes Wissen weiterzugeben.
  • Du besitzt sehr gute Englischkenntnisse in Wort und Schrift, um bestmöglich mit deinen Kollegen und Kunden kommunizieren zu können.
