Senior Software Engineer - Focus on AI & Data Engineering (Vienna, f/m/x) - Are you excited about building smart, data-driven products using the latest AI technologies? Join our Product Delivery Unit and shape how applied AI enhances modern digital products.

Your tasks

Design and build AI-enhanced software products using modern cloud services and frameworks (e.g., Azure OpenAI, AWS Bedrock, LangChain).
Implement practical solutions using Large Language Models, retrieval-augmented generation (RAG), or pre-trained services for classification, search, or automation.
Collaborate with product managers, designers, and customer teams to identify where AI adds real value.
Develop scalable data pipelines and integrate AI features into robust, production-grade software.
Lead technical discussions, mentor peers, and contribute to our applied AI engineering practices.

Your qualifications

Software Engineering: Several years of experience in software engineering (e.g., Python, Java, C#, or similar).
Applied AI Experience: Hands-on experience applying AI services in real-world applications (e.g., LLMs, NLP APIs, cognitive services).
Cloud Know-How: Familiarity with cloud platforms like AWS or Azure and experience deploying AI-driven features in production environments.
Data Handling: Solid understanding of data pipelines, APIs, and working with both SQL and NoSQL databases.
User-focused: Passion for building high-quality software and delivering meaningful user outcomes with AI.
Language skills: Fluency in German and English.
