As Head of Software Transformation (m/f/d), you are responsible for developing and growing our service portfolio around System Design and Architecture and Software Modernisation. You are passionate about enterprise architecture and agile software development, shaping a comprehensive strategy for your business unit, strengthening customer relationships, and enhancing SQUER's market position. As a charismatic leader, you foster and inspire your team.

Your tasks

Development and implementation of a (growth) strategy for the business unit.
Responsible for the operational business, including planning, implementing, and monitoring projects, budgets, and operational metrics.
Identify market trends and customer needs and perform competitive analysis to adapt and improve the business unit's services.
You are building and maintaining relationships with customers and partners to expand the business unit's operations and strengthen customer retention and the company's market position.
You are monitoring and analyzing customer satisfaction to identify and address weaknesses.
Leadership, selection, and development of employees to ensure optimal performance and promote company growth.
Promotion of a culture of collaboration, openness, and innovation to ensure successful company growth and development.
Collaboration with other departments, such as other business units, sales, and marketing, to create synergies and ensure the achievement of company goals.

Your qualifications

You have a strong background in software development, extensive experience with enterprise- as well as event-driven architectures (Kafka or similar), and a good understanding of how to integrate and migrate software systems (Strangler Fig, CDC, Micro Frontends, API design, etc.).
You have experience planning, implementing, and monitoring projects, budgets, and operational metrics.
You have already been involved in and executed complex technical projects at the corporate level and also possess consulting experience.
You enjoy working with people and maintaining relationships with customers, partners, and stakeholders within SQUER. You also understand your role as a mediator and have a problem-solver mindset.
You describe yourself as a charismatic leader with high empathy, a strong performance orientation, and excellent social skills.
You possess excellent German and English language skills in both written and verbal communication, and communication skills are among your strengths.

Als Head of Software Transformation (m/w/d) bist du verantwortlich für die Weiterentwicklung und das Wachstum unseres Service Angebots rund um System Design und Architecture, sowie Software Modernisation. Du begeisterst dich für Enterprise Architektur und agile Softwareentwicklung, erarbeitest Strategien für deinen Geschäftsbereich, stärkst Kundenbeziehungen und die Marktposition von SQUER. Zudem förderst und inspirierst du dein Team als charismatische Führungspersönlichkeit.

Deine Aufgaben

Entwicklung und Umsetzung einer (Wachstums-) Strategie für den Geschäftsbereich.
Verantwortung für das operative Geschäft, einschließlich der Planung, Umsetzung und Überwachung von Projekten, Budgets und operativen Kennzahlen.
Identifikation von Markttrends und Kundenbedürfnissen, sowie die Durchführung von Wettbewerbsanalysen, um Service Portfolio anzupassen und zu verbessern.
Aufbau und Pflege von Beziehungen zu Kunden und Partnern, um die Kundenbindung sowie die Marktposition des Unternehmens zu stärken.
Überwachung und Analyse der Kundenzufriedenheit, um Schwachstellen aufzudecken und zu beseitigen.
Führung, Auswahl und Entwicklung von MitarbeiterInnen, um die bestmögliche Leistung zu gewährleisten und das Wachstum des Unternehmens zu fördern.
Förderung einer Kultur der Zusammenarbeit, Offenheit und Innovation, um sicherzustellen, dass das Unternehmen erfolgreich wachsen und sich weiterentwickeln kann.
Zusammenarbeit mit anderen Abteilungen, wie z.B. anderen Geschäftsbereichen, dem Vertrieb und dem Marketing, um Synergien zu schaffen und sicherzustellen, dass die Geschäftsziele des Unternehmens erreicht werden.

Deine Qualifikationen

Du hast einen soliden Hintergrund in der Softwareentwicklung, umfangreiche Erfahrung mit Enterprise- sowie Event-getriebenen Architekturen (Kafka o.ä.) und bist versiert im Umgang mit Integrations- und Migrations-Pattern (Strangler Fig, CDC, Micro Frontends, API-Design, etc).
Du hast Erfahrung in der Planung, Umsetzung und Überwachung von Projekten, Budgets und operativen Kennzahlen.
Du hast bereits komplexe technische Projekte auf Konzernniveau begleitet und bringst zudem Erfahrung im Beratungsumfeld bzw. als Dienstleister mit.
Du hast Spaß daran, mit Menschen zu arbeiten und pflegst daher deine Beziehungen zu Kund:innen, Partner:innen und diversen Stakeholdern innerhalb von SQUER. Zudem verstehst du deine Rolle als Vermittler:in und hast ein Problem-Solver Mindset.
Du verstehst dich als charismatische Führungsperson mit einem hohen Maß an Empathie, einem gesunden Leistungsverständnis und einer stark ausgeprägten sozialen Kompetenz.
Du besitzt ausgezeichnete Deutsch- und Englischkenntnisse in Wort und Schrift und Kommunikation gehört zu deinen großen Stärken.
